Focalistic Have Some Harsh Words For Cassper Nyovest
The music scene in Mzansi is never short of beefs or artists arguing with one another. The latest one sees amapiano sensation Focalistic correcting rapper Cassper Nyovest’s misstatement.
Cassper Arrives For Focalistic Unprovoked
It all began when Cassper Nyovest mentioned Focalistic in a song called OohAhh during one of his verses. While Cassper Nyovest launched a vicious attack against Focalistic, one would assume that they were words of support. In his verse, Cassper Nyovest expresses his annoyance with the Mzansi hip-hop and rap industry, saying that he was the inspiration for many musicians, including Focalistic.
Cassper Nyovest stated that he had “inspired all of you nigg*s, even Foca.”
Only a week or so have passed before Focalistic started using social media to address the issue at hand. Focalistic made it quite apparent while in Paris, France, that while being inspired by Cassper Nyovest, he is still perplexed by being named in his verse as if someone wants to be paid or given credit for Focalistic’s success.

In fact, Focalistic was praising Cassper Nyovest as a major source of inspiration for him in the music industry back in 2019. However, one could question if this warranted Cassper Nyovest to claim exclusive responsibility for Focalistic’s success. Focalistic didn’t hold back in praising Cassper Nyovest for include him in a song in screen captures from 2019.

Focalistic continued to laud Cassper Nyovest’s praises even in 2018, despite the fact that they didn’t yet have a song together. Therefore, Cassper Nyovest has in reality been crucial to Focalistic’s musical development to this point.
